New building superintendents

HOME > New building superintendents

With regard to supervision of new ships we send experienced supervisors to home and abroad. These supervisors are engaged in construction supervision of ship types such as dry bulk carriers, tankers, LNG carriers, pure car carriers, container ships, passenger ships, ferries, etc. Our technical capabilities have earned high praise from our customers at home and abroad.

Our supervisors are stationed in the offices of the shipyards, ensuring constant communication. Moreover, it is their role to monitor the construction process, attend and complete inspections, verify performance at shop tests and finally confirm performance at sea trials and hand over to the ship management company for delivery.
We are prepared to resolve any challenges that may arise between shipowner and the shipyards.

Our supervisors Especially focus on hard to reach places using inspection mirrors to confirm that there are no unpainted areas.
In addition, our competent superintendents with appropriate education and licenses conduct inspections in order to meet the new ballast tank coating standards (PSPC).

Inspection of machinery

We attend the factory acceptance testing and confirm the performance of main engines and generators, as well as other equipment, essential for ship operation. As an example our supervision and technicians closely check the condition of the interior of stern tubes before inserting propeller shafts. Furthermore, shafting alignment, construction and installation work which requires high accuracy, such as installation of main and auxiliary engines are also closely supervised. In addition, we consider safe operation by advising countermeasures to prevent poor arrangement of fuel oil piping and all vessel equipment.
